Thanks to the nearly 200 swimmers who participated in Clippers tryouts. We are able to invite 66 swimmers to become a member of the Columbia Clippers Swim Team. Click on the New Swimmer List for more information. The Swimmers are listed by Evaluation # (given at tryouts) in their assigned practice group. |

| TEAM NEWS : Clippers Private Lessons |

Our Coaching Staff is now offering 1/2 hour private lessons for Clippers Swimmers ONLY that focus on correcting and improving technique. These sessions are not to be used if a swimmer is unable to attend a practice but instead should be used to help a swimmer focus on techniques they are unable to master consistently in practice. To get the most out of the program swimmers need to apply what they learn in these sessions during their normal practice time.
To sign up:
1. Fill out online request form2. Your request will be reviewed by the Coaching Staff.3. You will receive a email that will detail the number of lessons needed and the availbility of the assigned coach.4. Reply to confirm the date and time that works for both the swimmer and the coach.
5. Cost - $35.00 per 1/2 hour session - Make payment to Columbia Association by placing check in lthe CAA Locked Box or mail to the Aquatics office at 9450 Gerwig Lane Columbia MD 21046 Attn: Clippers Private Lessons

Clippers Summer Clinic Series The clinics provide swimmers ages 9–13 an opportunity to learn or improve basic swimming skills & stoke mechanics. The clinics will be held on Thursdays, July 1st, 8th, 15, 22nd, & 29th at the Jeffer's Hill Pool from 3:30-5pm The clinics are open to all CA Members and CA Resident Card Holders. Space is limited. Registration begins June 1st. Complete a Registration Form and return to the Aquatics Office by mail or in person. All Clinics will be run by Clippers Head Coach Jeff Scrivener and other Clippers coaching staff. |
